God Save The Queen

Burt’s Bees

A third of the world’s food production depends on bees. Honey bees play a vital role in plant pollination, but we’ve gotten ourselves in a bit of a sticky situation through centuries of pollution, overpopulation, and greed.

Together, we can work like a swarm and make an impact on protecting this species, who are quintessential to our ecosystem and future.

Seeds of Sovereignty

Product packaging will now include a regal token of gratitude that further incentivizes protection of the bees. We’re strategically including seeds so customers can plant a flower with every purchase.

Shifting Social Focus

Burt’s Bees is changing their social media presence to show their support to our true heroes- the beekeepers that keep the world spinning on its axis. Burt’s media teams visit bee sanctuaries all over the world and create content that allows consumers to engage with the beekeepers in novel ways.

The Queen’s Royal Garden

Burt’s Bees is sponsoring community gardens in unconventional but accessible locations across the nation- from skyscraper rooftops and transportation stations to fitness center courtyards and public parks. Each one will be complete with the resources for a bee colony to thrive in, free of any synthetic pesticides or herbicides that wreak havoc in a honey bee’s sensitive immune systems. Playing a part in the art of beekeeping has never been more welcoming.

Blooming For Burt

Humanity can support the bees with every single flower that gets rooted and harvested. Burt’s Bees and 1-800-Flowers have sprouted a mutually beneficial partnership that gives back to the beekeepers with every purchase of a flower that has blossomed due to bee pollination.

A Sustainably-Sourced Partnership

Burt’s Bees has had responsible sourcing initiatives in place since 2010, which forged relationships with its beeswax-supplying communities around the world, so it is about time a partnership with a like-minded company is formed. Burt’s Bees is collaborating with Chipotle to create a menu item that uses high-quality, pure honey and supports the beekeepers with every purchase.
